Today I was reminded that it is the rudest people in our lives who need our deepest and strongest compassion. This is true empowerment ~ to be able to rise above the tit-for-tat mentality that is so prevalent in our culture today.

This post reminds me of something my Mom says often, “It’s easy to love the lovely”.
I try to remember on a daily basis to respond to those who seem rude or mean with patience and kindness. Responding to friendly people in that way is a given, but I like to challenge myself when I have interaction with someone being rude.
Thank you for reminding me to keep this goal fresh in my mind each day!!
