you already have all your answers This week I’ve been cleaning out and organizing my office and I came across some notes about the character of the Pinwheel Girl I had written down in a notebook before The Pinwheel Girl Takes Flight was published. I was doing a character study of her and had wanted to articulate why she was so enlivening to me. Having just re-read those notes I thought I’d share them with you. I hope these thoughts resonate as strongly with you as they do with me. More Notes on Who is the Pinwheel Girl? She’s... [Read more]

Have you had a Pinwheel Encounter lately?

This photo of this beautiful pinwheel comes from my friend, June. From time to time, she has shared this picture with me and told me she is thinking of me or some story I’ve told, or reminiscing about the day she found the pinwheel, or contemplating the meaning of the pinwheel as a symbol. That’s what pinwheels can do to you! Once you know the secret mystery they possess, pinwheels can forevermore remind you of symbolism and power and special times. June's Pinwheel Power Symbol June told me she found this pinwheel in a forest... [Read more]
