Face Your Truth

Sometimes we don’t want to do the work that’s required of us to get through a difficult stage or to reach a new height. Do it anyway. You show up for everyone else’s life, don’t you? So show up for yours — show up for yourself, for your life, for your own salvation & redemption.

Do what it takes to be true to you. To do that, you’ve got to face the Truths that you’ve left behind.

"...awareness can be lonely...recognition too hard..."

  1. Thanks for writing this. I needed it today. I have been in a difficult place the past weeks with major grieving going on. I was able to do the work of grieving for awhile and then got overwhelmed by the feelings. I needed to read this today.

Hi Patricia – I am continually amazed by your courageous journey of healing and transformation. I know it is not easy and very often the feelings ARE overwhelming — seemingly relentless, overbearing, suffocating…but you are doing important work that will ultimately set you free. Keep going, keep showing up. I am sending you tons and tons of white light for all the tough times.

  2. We undergo many emotions with waves of grief, during the process of finding our authentic self, I did anyway. There are times of confusion and desperation. Times of wanting to give up on the venture of changing, and just go backward to the way life used to be. At times, I regretted that I had learned anything because denial seemed so much simpler. One accomplishment at a time can change your entire outlook on life and change who you are on a deep lasting level.

Even though the path can seem difficult at times, look for your accomplishments and keep plugging along, one day at a time. Give yourself credit and practice what you are learning. Most importantly, think for yourself and believe in yourself. You will embrace the finest part of yourself and experience the love that powers the universe. You cannot take my word for it because I have put words to transformation that are skin-deep at best. Life is more than just a string of accidents, it is tiny collective miracles!

Hi Sandra — thanks for stopping by and offering such profound comments on the transformation process. I think you are spot on. Sometimes there really is deep grief, confusion, despair, and horrific pain to confront as we excavate our authentic selves and life Truths. I know for me I often felt that the more I learned about myself, the choices I made, the paths I took, the more lonely I felt. I regretted the knowledge I was gaining because it hurt so much — “…awareness is lonely…recognition too hard…” is what I wrote in my book in Stage 6 of transformation. It’s the stage when you are sorely tested, the temptation to go back to the way it was is strong. But later I found that “the Truth of your Life can and does set you free” once you accept it and use it as a stepping stone for the next part of your journey. I do want to encourage everyone to understand that it is IN THE PAIN the HEALING BEGINS. Blessings to you Sandra ~ and to all the other pinwheel girls out there ~ love to you all! xo
