Pinwheel Girl Empowerment Experiences

Workshop I:  Pinwheels ~ Personal Power Symbols

In this empowerment experience, participants will learn about the multitude of symbolic meanings of the pinwheel and its world-wide presence in people’s lives. We’ll explore how pinwheels are universally recognized as symbols for “turning one’s luck around.”

They are also metaphors for:

• change
• movement
• unseen energy
• power
• life
• hope
• possibility
• joy

During the workshop, we’ll take the traditional concept of a vision board–where you create a collage of your dreams, goals, and wishes–and we’ll give it a spin by creating our own colorful, dazzling Pinwheel Power Symbols representing our uniqueness and strength. Participants create unique and personal symbols for themselves as they embark on change and transformation. Creating a pinwheel power symbol is deeply restorative, engaging, contemplative and FUN!

Workshop II:  Seven Stages of Transformation ~ Can You Feel the Breeze?

In this empowerment experience attendees will learn about the powerful symbol of a pinwheel in flight as an inspiration for courage and affirmation. We’ll meet the Pinwheel Girl who is no longer spinning on a stick but instead is free and airborne. Through her eyes, voice and heart, we will discover seven stages of transition and seven healing colors that can guide us through change and eventual transformation, including loss, betrayal, starting over, healing, life stages, launching a new project, and reclaiming what we have abandoned. Healing and empowerment are this workshop’s hallmark.

Workshop III:  Seven Stages You Must Learn to Manage Change!

An abbreviated version of The Pinwheel Girl Takes Flight – Every Woman’s Journey (above) focusing on the seven stages of change and transition that lead to transformation. Perfect for friends gathering together (home party format) to explore, discover, converse and dream while learning about transition, affirmation, and the strength of the Inner Voice! (available as a workshop also).

Keynote:  Out of the Darkness, Into the Light ~ One Mother’s Story of Child Loss

This 45-minute keynote shares how one mother turned an unthinkable horror of child loss into a lifelong gift of profound perspective. Kendra will share the story of her two year journey with grief after the unexpected neonatal death of her first child and the ultimate triumph she experienced that yielded courage, honor, peace, and happiness.
